An Experience with Hallmark for L. I. F. E.
I’ve been posting a whole lot of negative things lately. And
browsing through some pix here, I think it’s good to post something
more inspiring this time. Last Aug. 16, 2006, I was invited at the Hallmark for L. I. F. E.
contract signing of artists for their 11th year where my art work
"Makulay Ang Paskong Pinoy!" was chosen as one of the
designs for Hallmark’s 2
006 Christmas Cards. It was something really special for me as the 2 kids on my artwork are actually my 2 child actresses from my short film "Aninag." Now I can send my own Hallmark Christmas Cards to my production staff, sponsors and friends! yey! Museo Pambata and Ms. Maricel, im sure you’ll be happy with this!
It was such a worthwhile experience — offering your craft for something as significant as this…
It’s my first time to be a
part of this wonderful endeavor and it really makes my heart leap
everytime I remember the said event: more than just the contract
signing, it was truly inspiring to be a witness to the wonderful
testimonies and speeches of the people behind the project, the talent
showdown of the people working for the project, and most of all, the
L.I.F.E. kids rendering various numbers to further perk up the occasion.

Truly, with the sincerest amount of efforts seen during the said
event, no amount of talent fee from the biggest production stints can
ever match the feeling of being able to contribute to this kind of
project. It is a completely inspiring experience… knowing that in my
own little way… i get to help save lives of these children… and I’m
sure the rest of the artists who contributed and all the people working
for this project share the same kind of feeling for this…
Here’s a copy of the PR from Hallmark (You can be a part of this too!!!):
It is a sad reality that more and more children are being diagnosed
with leukemia. It is a depressing reality that the parents of most of
these children cannot afford the medication to cure cancer. It is a
tragedy if we do not do anything about it.
There is hope when there is life.
